Maintenance Agent Job Description

The Directorate of Buildings manages, maintains, and develops a real estate park of nearly one million square meters. The typology of the buildings concerned mainly consists of the 114 colleges managed by the Department, but also buildings allocated to social services, the National Gendarmerie, fire and rescue centers, and the cultural activities of the Department and others. As a Maintenance Agent, you will fulfill the Department's ambition within a college on the territory.

In this context, your hierarchical manager will be the Deputy Director of Works and Interventions, and your functional manager on a daily basis will be the College Manager. Your mission? To ensure the technical maintenance of the facilities of the establishment as well as the safety related to persons and property within the establishment.

- Monitor the facilities and prevent risks related to property and persons; in case of danger of breakdown or disorder, implement the conservatory measures in conjunction with the management team of the EPLE.

- Manage the equipment and materials provided and carry out the consumption records of the fluids.

- Carry out first-level repair work.

- Ensure the relay between the services and accompany the companies in charge of the works or maintenance.

- Ensure regular and daily maintenance on the built and non-built assets, as well as outdoor spaces and green spaces.

- Intervene on repairs and damages of medium and small importance.

- Participate in the operation of the site.

- Accompany the companies in charge of works or maintenance of the facilities, in support of the management team of the EPLE.

- You hold a typical diploma BEP, CAP, BAC PRO of the building trades.

- First experience would be appreciated in a similar position.

- Driving license B OBLIGATORY

Skills:

- Know the security and alert systems and their operation.

- Know the hygiene and safety rules.

- Possess the knowledge required for the maintenance and minor repairs of installations/technical equipment.

- Be able to take initiatives and be autonomous.

- Be able to intervene in several bodies of state (plumbing, painting, carpentry, electricity, etc.).

- Be able to suggest and propose improvements (quality, safety, comfort, rationality/economy).

- Be able to react in case of emergency and face the unforeseen.

- Be able to report. Know-how:

- Strong sense of public service is appreciated - Relational qualities. Driving license B is mandatory.
