Maintenance Technician, Multifamily – Braunwood at Town Creek
Responsible for supporting residents and maintaining building operations in a multifamily setting. Leads apartment prep, repairs, groundskeeping, and resident service requests.
Responsibilities- Prepare apartments for move‑in: painting, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping.
- Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude.
- Perform maintenance tasks: plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, carpentry, painting, snow removal (if applicable).
- Maintain common areas, grounds, pools/hot tubs, and dog park amenities to be clean, operational, and safe.
- Report maintenance concerns on vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Execute scheduled maintenance and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Adhere to state, local, and federal fair‑housing laws.
- Attend training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
- Maintain safety procedures and safeguard tools and equipment.
- Attend on‑site regularly and report any tardiness or attendance issues promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA 608 – Minimum Type II and CPO or equivalent local certification.
- Ability to read and understand operational manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
- Basic math skills: rate, ratio, percent, bar graphs, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Capability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
- Minimum 1 year related experience.
The role is conducted in a professional office setting using standard office equipment. The technician may travel between buildings, work outdoors in varying weather, stand or walk for extended periods, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 100 pounds as required.
Compensation$17.00 – $20.00 per hour.
