Simpson Race Products, part of Holley Performance Brands, is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Facilities Technician to join our Safety & Racing team in New Braunfels.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and reliable manufacturing environment through routine facility upkeep, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, safety support, special projects, and work‑order requests.

Working under the direction of Operations, Industrial Engineering, or Environmental Health and Safety leadership, you’ll follow established procedures and promptly report work that requires a licensed trade, specialized technician, or additional safety controls.

What You’ll Do Maintenance and Repairs

Complete assigned work orders and routine preventive maintenance using established instructions and checklists.

Perform basic repairs, including replacing filters, light bulbs, hardware, ceiling tiles, and other approved facility components.

Inspect doors, fixtures, flooring, walls, drains, lighting, and common areas for damage, leaks, unusual noises, or unsafe conditions.

Safely use basic hand and power tools within the limits of your training and authorization.

Assist maintenance technicians with equipment moves, repairs, installations, and shutdown activities.

Facility Support

Keep maintenance rooms, storage areas, work spaces, and assigned exterior areas organized and free of avoidable hazards.

Support grounds maintenance, snow and ice removal, spill response, waste handling, and material‑moving tasks when assigned and trained.

Monitor maintenance supplies and notify the Operations Manager when commonly used parts, tools, or consumable items need to be reordered.

Provide courteous facility support to production and office employees and communicate the status of assigned requests.

Special Projects

Assist with workspace moves, facility improvements, 6S activities, seasonal preparation, inventory counts, and site or employee‑event setup.

Gather measurements, photos, materials, and status information to support project planning.

Coordinate basic tasks with employees or vendors as directed.

Complete assigned projects safely and on schedule while communicating progress, delays, and follow‑up needs.

Environmental Health and Safety Support

Complete assigned safety checks, documentation, and corrective actions under the direction of EHS or facilities leadership.

Inspect exits, aisles, walking surfaces, doors, lighting, housekeeping, safety signage, emergency equipment, PPE stations, and the visible condition of safety systems.

Participate in risk assessments and job hazard analyses by sharing observations, identifying hazards, and documenting findings.

Immediately report injuries, incidents, near misses, spills, damaged safety equipment, and unsafe conditions.

Assist with fact gathering and approved corrective actions as directed.

Help maintain access to Safety Data Sheets, chemical labels and inventories, and orderly hazardous‑material or waste‑storage areas when trained.
