Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Technician

Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Technician – Radiometer (Danaher). This on‑site role is located in New Brighton, MN and reports to the Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Supervisor. The technician ensures all equipment is performing optimally through calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and documentation.

• Perform and coordinate calibration and preventive maintenance, including part replacements and equipment setup, and maintain accurate CMMS and equipment history records.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime and support production operations.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support continuous improvement, identify equipment issues, and recommend solutions.

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering and 2–5 years of maintenance or calibration experience in a medical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of calibration standards such as NIST and ISO 17025.
• Ability to read technical manuals and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with GDP and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to lift 30 lbs., use ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Follow safety practices including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Technical writing – creating, updating, and maintaining processes and procedures.
• Validation – supporting and executing IQ/OQ/PQ activities.

Hourly range: $35 – $40. Eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Compensation may be modified in the future.
