Goodwin Technical High School! The State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is recruiting for one (1) part-time 2nd Shift Custodian position at E.C. Goodwin Technical High School in New Britain, CT.

• Part-time | 2nd Shift | 32.5 Hours per week
• Monday – Friday | 2:30 pm – 9:30 pm

• Permanent part-time employees are entitled to benefits and to accrue vacation and sick leave in accordance with hours worked

• Perform custodial tasks and maintenance of areas such as classrooms, offices, auditoriums, wards, kitchens, dining rooms and lavatories including outdoor areas (i.e. trash around buildings)
• Dust, mop, sweep, scrub, strip, wax and polish floors; shampoo carpets using appropriate equipment
• Wash, dust and polish glass including windows, woodwork, walls, furniture and metal equipment
• Collect and dispose of all trash and recycling in the appropriate containers
• Report needs for repairs; perform minor maintenance
• Inspect building for damage and report conditions to supervisor
• Perform related duties as required
