** MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assist with routine maintenance on machinery and equipment within safety, GMP, and housekeeping requirements
* Help troubleshoot basic mechanical issues under the guidance of senior mechanics.
* Perform simple repairs and adjustments to production equipment.
* Work as a self-starter, completing tasks with little instruction and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
* Support installation and set up of new machines or components.
* Conduct equipment inspections to look for wear, leaks, or safety concerns and report findings.
* Maintain and repair basic hydraulic and pneumatic components as trained.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely for mechanical repair tasks.
* Follow preventative maintenance schedules and complete required checklists.
* Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety rules.
* Document work performed in maintenance logs or CMMS systems.
* Work closely with senior technicians and production staff to learn and develop mechanical skills.
* Rigging, forklift, and aerial lift operations – Training provided by employer.

** High School Diploma

* EXPERIENCE:

*** 1-3 years’ experience in manufacturing.

* SKILLS:

*** High school diploma or equivalent
* Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
* Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
* Demonstrated commitment to
** safety, GMP, and housekeeping practices****.
*** Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* ** Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter with minimal supervision.
*** Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
** Physical Requirements
*** Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
* Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions.
* Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and use of hand tools.
