Job Title and Summary
Ivy Tech Henry County seeks a part-time custodian for light maintenance work, cleaning and upkeep of facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities- Cleans and maintains all cigarette butt urns on College property. (Outside duty).
- Stocks all paper and hand cleaning products dispenser in restrooms.
- Cleans and sanitizes all fixtures, partitions and wall areas, sweep and mop in restrooms daily.
- Sweeps and maintains entryways and outdoor lounge areas.
- Maintains all internal and external trash receptacles outside classrooms.
- Maintains the student commons free of all trash and spills also clean tabletops, chairs and booths.
- Cleans door window glass and frequently touched vertical surfaces daily.
- Maintains community rooms and/or meeting setup.
- Light maintenance as needed, based on skill set.
- All other duties as assigned.
Starting at $17.00/hour
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent. Applicant must be punctual, dependable and trustworthy.
