• Teach middle school mathematics courses (grades 6‑8) in alignment with district curriculum and Connecticut standards.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that promote mathematical reasoning, problem‑solving, critical thinking, and real‑world application of mathematical concepts.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, technology, and assessment practices to support student learning and achievement.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners.
• Assess student learning and provide timely, meaningful feedback to students and families.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and collaboration.

• Valid Connecticut Certification: 029 Mathematics (Grades 7–12 / Grades 4‑12 preferred) or NY equivalent to work toward certification reciprocity.
• Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and student‑centered learning environment.
