Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Position Purpose

The person in this position is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the daily operations of the maintenance team in accordance with Lindt policies and procedures. In addition, this person ensures minimum downtime on equipment while maintaining a safe work environment. This is an onsite role.

• Equipment Performance
  • Read and interpret equipment operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Monitor equipment downtime logs and identify recurring issues.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance program and document routine and shutdown PM tasks.
  • Modify task instructions and PM schedules as necessary.
  • Partner with Production Management to implement technical machine improvements.
  • Assess machinery failures patterns and forecast maintenance schedule.
  • Provide on-scene evaluation of downtime events and prioritize as necessary.
  • Facilitate training of maintenance mechanics.
• Facilities Responsibilities
  • Maintain facilities and grounds according to AIB and ISO standards.
  • Oversight for facility projects and contractors.
  • Monitor utility systems and respond to alarming conditions.
  • Help facilitate training of technicians on facility systems.
• Supervising
  • Hire, develop and motivate mechanics.
  • Schedule mechanical tasks and projects.
  • Complete handoff of autonomous maintenance work to production teams.
  • Review maintenance program for improvement opportunities.
  • Execute Break Down Analysis and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs.
  • Monitor and control quality of maintenance work.
  • Enforce department standards and safety procedures.
• Spare Parts Management
  • Audit spare parts and ensure production needs are met.
  • Maintain spare part management per lean manufacturing best practices.
  • Ensure proper part release in the CMMS system.

• Skills & Knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of production machinery and electrical systems.
  • Solid knowledge of automation and PLC systems.
  • Strong written, verbal and communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Solid computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Solid understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance tools.
• Education
  • Technical, vocational and/or equivalent job experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Required to work weekends occasionally.
• Required to work off shifts.

Compensation Range: $80,000.00 - $
