- Clean and maintain Food & Beverage areas, including kitchens, restaurants, bars, dining facilities, storage areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, including floors, walls, windows, equipment, appliances, and hard-to-reach areas.
- Remove trash, debris, and recyclable materials promptly and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply and storage areas.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Move furniture, equipment, and other items as needed to ensure thorough cleaning.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests, spills, emergencies, and other maintenance-related needs.
- Identify and report safety hazards, damaged equipment, accidents, or incidents to management.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Support overall facility operations through teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- May be required to work early morning shifts, beginning as early as 5:00 AM.
- Must be flexible to work varying schedules based on business needs.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders.
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of cleaning, porter, custodial, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to use basic mobile phone functions for communication purposes.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Work is performed throughout Food & Beverage facilities, including kitchens, restaurants, bars, dining areas, storage rooms, and other operational spaces.
- Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and other physical activities throughout the shift.
- Employees may be required to work around cleaning chemicals, kitchen equipment, and varying temperatures.
- The environment may be fast-paced and requires adherence to all safety, sanitation, and company standards.
The Heavy Duty Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout all Food & Beverage areas while supporting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and employees. This role contributes to the overall guest experience by ensuring all work areas are clean, organized, fully stocked, and maintained in accordance with company policies and service standards.
The Heavy Duty Cleaner reports directly to the Facilities Manager and plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of Food & Beverage facilities.
