Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

River Woods Durham, a resident-centered Continuing Care Retirement Community in Durham, NH, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to support a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents. In this role, you will perform daily cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, and clinical spaces, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, bed-making, and restroom sanitation. You'll follow infection control and safety procedures, handle laundry and linens, and report maintenance needs.

Working closely with nursing and resident services teams, you'll build meaningful relationships with residents while upholding dignity, respect, and confidentiality in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and surfaces per schedule
• Change linens, make beds, and manage resident and facility laundry
• Maintain infection control and follow safety and cleaning protocols
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
• Report maintenance and safety issues promptly to supervisors
• Restock supplies in resident rooms and common areas
• Support room turns and deep cleaning as required
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, and personal preferences
• Communicate with nursing and resident services teams about needs
