Schedule:

-Monday - Friday, day shift
-Weekend Requirements:
Occasional weekends as needed
-Travel/OT: ~50% travel required; overtime and specific logistics based on regional/national project needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

Join our team as a Field Service Technician supporting cutting-edge bio-decontamination and complex electromechanical systems across regional and national client sites. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys travel, technical problem-solving, and working directly with clients to ensure critical environmental control equipment runs safely and efficiently.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Field Service & Technical Operations
-Execute specialized decontamination projects and facility/equipment servicing.
-Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex electromechanical systems.
-Provide comprehensive on-site technical training to client personnel.
Client Support & Response
-Respond promptly to client service calls, including emergency and critical support requests.
-Deliver professional phone and email technical assistance.
Planning & Logistics
-Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance visits.
-Manage parts, materials, and project logistics for field deployments.
Equipment & Inventory Control
-Maintain and calibrate specialized field service equipment.
-Manage and track spare parts inventory.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

-Strong hands-on experience with industrial electromechanical systems (pumps, motors, blowers, etc.).
-Ability to diagnose electrical systems and interpret PLC controls.
-Proven troubleshooting, critical thinking, and mechanical problem-solving skills.
-Valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently (~50%).
-Preferred Industries: HVAC, Electrical, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
-Prior experience in field service operations.
-Past exposure to environmental control, sterilization, or chemical/bio-decontamination systems (or similar heavily regulated technical industries).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
-Requires regular physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly (and up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance).
-Ability to climb ladders, work comfortably in confined spaces, and handle extended periods of standing, walking, and travel.
-Safety Compliance:
Must be able to successfully pass a fit test and utilize specialized personal protective equipment (PPE), including a full-face respirator or Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
