Maintenance Team Member

The Sussex County Miners are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join the maintenance team at Skylands Stadium. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for fans, players, and staff. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping a facility operating at a high level.

• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of stadium facilities, including seating areas, concourses, restrooms, and exterior grounds
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, tents, signage, and other equipment
• Complete minor repairs such as basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of the ballpark before, during, and after games/events
• Monitor facility conditions and report any safety concerns or needed repairs
• Assist with field maintenance tasks as needed
• Support other departments to ensure smooth game day and event operations

• Prior maintenance, facilities, or custodial experience preferred (but not required)
• Ability to operate basic tools and equipment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Availability for all home games and stadium events is strongly preferred

• Hourly pay based on experience
