This role may require working a rotational schedule to support continuous manufacturing operations.

Our Team

Our manufacturing team operates in a high‑reliability, highly regulated aerospace and defense production environment, where equipment performance, uptime, and safety are essential. Maintenance is a key partner to operations, manufacturing engineering, and quality, ensuring that production equipment and infrastructure are capable of meeting demanding performance and compliance requirements.

The team supports low‑to‑medium volume, high‑mix manufacturing, requiring strong technical skills, adaptability, and disciplined preventive maintenance practices. Maintenance mechanics are empowered to identify issues, recommend improvements, and contribute directly to operational excellence.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will provide hands‑on technical support to maintain manufacturing readiness and equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on manufacturing and facility equipment.

* Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.

* Support production by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and operational issues.

* Maintain and repair automated and semi‑automated manufacturing equipment.

* Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, drawings, and work instructions.

* Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in maintenance management systems.

* Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend corrective actions or improvements.

* Support equipment installations, moves, upgrades, and commissioning activities.

* Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including lockout/tagout and EHS procedures.

* Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, operations, and external vendors as needed.

* Support audits and inspections by maintaining equipment compliance and documentation.

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and maintenance practices.

* Work assigned shifts, including rotational schedules, overtime, or on‑call support as required.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician in a manufacturing environment.

* Hands‑on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.

* Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

* Ability to read and understand technical documentation and schematics.

* Ability to safely lift, move, and work around industrial equipment.

* Willingness and ability to work a rotational schedule as required.

What Will Put You Ahead

* Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

* Experience with automated equipment, PLC‑controlled systems, or robotics.

* Preventive and predictive maintenance program experience.

* Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation practices.

* Strong problem‑solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

* Ability to work independently and prioritize work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
