Location: Oceanport
Laborer – Department of Public Works
Full‑time position. Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (37.5 hours per week). Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits package included.
Responsibilities:
- Buildings and ground maintenance
- Grass cutting
- Road maintenance
- Snow plowing
- Leaf collection
- Cleaning of streets, drains, sewers, parks, playgrounds, and public facilities
Qualifications:
- Ability to safely operate grass cutting equipment, chainsaws, chippers, snow blowers, leaf machines, and similar Public Works equipment as directed
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license required
- CDL Class A or B preferred; CDL Learner’s Permit holders may be considered if they obtain a CDL Class B within one year of hire
- Successful completion of a background check required
