Maintenance Supervisor- The Landing

Qualified candidates must be professional and friendly. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times. This involves ensuring a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The maintenance supervisor must anticipate, identify, and correct any maintenance problems, implement procedures to prevent such issues, oversee timely completion of all maintenance service requests and repairs, and perform hands‑on turnkey work and inspections to keep units rent‑ready as needed.

They are also in charge of preventative maintenance, cost‑saving measures, and managing a department budget. The supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians, handling hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in property maintenance or equivalent fieldwork.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Professional and efficient interaction with prospects, residents, staff, and management.
• Hands‑on experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC (heat pump experience a plus), swimming pools, landscaping, and cleaning.
• Must bring own tools and have transportation for parts and supplies.
• HVAC certification required; CPO and CAMT certifications preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, walk between buildings and on roofs, stoop, kneel, bend and coordinate manual dexterity.
• Familiar with and adhere to all OSHA guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
• Ability to travel for parts and supplies.
• Other duties as required.
• Drug and background screening required.

Work Hours:

40+ hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call hours as circumstances warrant.

$28–$32.
