Operating as both a private label manufacturer and direct‑to‑consumer snack brand innovator, we’re rapidly expanding and looking for driven, entrepreneurial people to grow with us.

We are looking for builders and doers who thrive in agile, entrepreneurial environments and are comfortable creating structure where it does not yet exist. The ideal candidate has seen best‑in‑class operations and knows how to adapt that experience in a fast‑moving setting.

Role Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance and facility operations to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility. This position oversees preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs while supporting production through maximum equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

Success in this role depends on maintaining reliable equipment, minimizing downtime, and partnering with production to keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently while supporting the company’s continued growth.

Core Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Systems & Reliability: Lead maintenance team's capabilities to implement, manage, and drive equipment maintenance and reliability programs, including Corrective Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) and Operator Asset Care (OAC) programs, to eliminate recurring issues and achieve production/efficiency goals.
  • Daily Maintenance Operations: Manage multiple breakdowns and maintenance activities in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Engineering Projects: Lead and manage special projects related to maintenance and engineering.
  • Equipment Performance: Provide engineering solutions to improve and sustain production equipment efficiency.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Guide, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance leaders by fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Safety Leadership: Maintain safe working conditions throughout the manufacturing facility to eliminate potential accidents or injuries. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Food Safety & GMP Compliance: Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment availability and reliability.
  • Production Partnership: Partner with Production to minimize equipment downtime and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Contractor & Vendor Management: Manage outside contractors and vendors supporting facility maintenance projects.
  • MRO Inventory Management: Maintain an appropriate inventory of maintenance parts and critical spare components to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, facility, and equipment maintenance regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food manufacturing industry, with three to five years of supervisory experience required.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), as well as other software programs (i.e., AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project).
  • Strong skills in project management, scoping, estimation, scheduling, and budgeting are essential.
  • Familiarity with GMPs and sanitary design principles for equipment specifications, installations, and modifications.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
  • Superior technical, data‑driven, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities, including the capability to influence and motivate team members.
