All of our Janitorial workers are responsible for cleaning applicable equipment to ensure produced goods safe for the consumer and prevent food safety and security risks. This role requires physical capability to breakdown wooden pallets and food storage bins for disposal.

Manually break down wooden pallets and food storage bins

Dispose of broken down bins

Remove and dispose of trash/cardboard

Lift up to 50 lbs of production waste to be disposed of

Clean trash containers daily

Maintain the trash disposal area in an orderly fashion

Breakdown wooden tomato bins and stack in an orderly fashion

Safely operate a trash compactor and cardboard compactor

Safely work around forklifts

Work overtime, as needed

Work around chemicals and be able to perform manual labor

Perform basic cleaning of structural surfaces as assigned

Clean area surrounding trash compactor outside dock area (during daylight as assigned}

High School diploma or GED equivalent

One-year janitorial experience in food manufacturing, preferred.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Maintain good attendance in accordance to company policy

Be able to lift upwards of 50lbs on a regular basis throughout the shift.

Be able to push/pull wheeled carts over 100lbs.

Be able to move bins with pallet jack.
