Maintenance Technician

BAM Workforce Solutions is partnering with an established manufacturing facility in the Paulsboro, NJ area in search of a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a an opportunity with a growing company that has expansion plans on the horizon, making this a role with real long-term upside for the right person.

Overview:

• Own your work from start to finish — show up, figure out what needs to be done, and get it done with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and fix electromechanical issues across production equipment.
• Stay ahead of problems by performing preventive maintenance, handling machinery installs and moves, and keeping the facility in good shape.
• Lead small crews when the job calls for it and keep things moving in the right direction.
• Know what materials you need, pull from stock, or put a purchasing list together for the Lead.
• Cover scheduling and keep operations running when the Lead is out.
• Work alongside experienced maintenance staff and pull your weight on a team that takes the job seriously.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electromechanical diagnostic skills are the number one thing this team is looking for.
• Well-rounded maintenance background covering mechanical, electrical, and general facility work.
• Comfortable working independently and supervising others without needing to be micromanaged.
• Manufacturing background strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must clear a background check and drug screen.
