Maintenance Director

Brightview Senior Living seeks a Maintenance Director to lead all building, grounds, and life-safety operations for our senior living community. Reporting to the Executive Director, you'll manage preventive maintenance, repairs, and capital projects to ensure a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for residents and associates. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff and contractors, overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, managing inspections and regulatory compliance, controlling budgets, and responding promptly to emergencies.

You'll collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams, modeling Brightview's culture of compassion, respect, and excellence in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all building, grounds, and equipment maintenance for the community
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, safety, and life-safety regulations and inspections
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules and work orders
• Lead, train, and schedule maintenance staff and outside contractors
• Manage maintenance budget, inventory, and capital projects
• Respond promptly to urgent repair needs to protect resident safety and comfort
• Coordinate renovations, inspections, and vendor services
• Partner with nursing and operations leaders to support resident care needs
