Description: Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in NJ.
The Maintenance Supervisor & Planning Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance operations within a high-volume manufacturing facility to ensure optimum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and production performance. This position oversees maintenance personnel, manages preventive maintenance initiatives, coordinates maintenance planning activities, and ensures the availability of critical spare parts and resources necessary to support continuous operations.
Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate all maintenance functions for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
- Ensure prompt diagnosis and resolution of equipment failures to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
- Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to improve asset reliability and equipment lifespan.
- Monitor maintenance performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance work through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing, food production, consumer packaged goods, or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced production setting.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment.
- Experience utilizing CMMS software for maintenance planning, scheduling, and tracking.
- Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical controls, PLC systems, motor drives, sensors, and related automation technologies.
