Maintenance Worker - Winslow Township SD Facilities

Aramark is hiring a Maintenance Worker (HVAC) to help maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at our facility in Atco, New Jersey. In this hands-on maintenance technician role, you will perform HVAC repairs, change air filters, clean ductwork, inspect equipment, and help keep building systems operating safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for candidates with HVAC experience or HVAC certification who enjoy troubleshooting equipment and working with their hands.

The schedule for this role is 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and reliability and attendance are essential to success. Work may take place throughout the facility, including mechanical rooms, occupied buildings, and maintenance areas.

Compensation:

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine HVAC maintenance, including changing air filters and cleaning ductwork.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment and related building systems.
• Inspect heating, cooling, and ventilation systems to identify maintenance needs.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and equipment checklists.
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and maintenance supplies safely and effectively.
• Respond to maintenance requests and address issues in a timely manner.
• Perform minor building maintenance and repairs as needed, including basic repairs to fixtures, doors, windows, and facility equipment.
• Report equipment deficiencies, safety concerns, and major repair needs to management.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow all Aramark safety practices, PPE requirements, and facility procedures.
• Work in indoor mechanical spaces and throughout the facility while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Required Qualifications:
  
  HVAC experience in maintenance, service, repair, installation, or a related trade. Ability to diagnose and perform basic repairs on HVAC equipment. Ability to safely use maintenance tools, ladders, and equipment. Availability to work the scheduled shift of 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials;
  
  bend, climb, walk, and stand for extended periods. Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  HVAC certification, trade school training, or related technical certification. Previous experience in facilities maintenance, commercial building maintenance, or industrial maintenance. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and work order systems.
