Salary Range: $16.00 To $17.00 Annually

About the Role:

This role rotates between locations cleaning in schools and businesses in South Jersey. You must have own transportation and be able to work flexible hours  have openings for Day and Nite shifts. We seek someone reliable, able to work independently and cares about quality, . Floaters do not start with set schedules. Full Time position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies and their safe usage.
• Reliable transportation to travel between multiple job sites

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working as a floater janitor or in multi-site cleaning roles.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and procedures.
• Certification in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with site managers and team members.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal across various locations.
• Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain health and safety standards.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Adapt to different site-specific cleaning schedules and requirements as a floater, ensuring consistent quality across all assigned locations.
