The Summer Bridge Program Teacher helps rising ninth-grade students successfully transition to high school through academic enrichment, skill development, and student engagement.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Ability to improve students' understanding of math for rising 9th graders who have struggled in the past.
- Ability to differentiate and scaffold math instruction.
- Provide real life, community-based math-focused understanding of math credits needed for graduation.
- Develop math-skill-improvement action plan with resources.
- Ability to engage students to improve their own math learning profile.
valid CT CSDE Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBilingual (English and Spanish)
EMPLOYMENT TERMS3.5hrs/ 4 days per week, $41/hour
