Workamping Front Desk and Maintenance Couple

About the Property

Mountain Ridge Cabins & Lodging is a recently renovated, small hospitality property located in Hatch, Utah. We pride ourselves on a tight-knit team and a high staff return rate, offering a family‑owned and operated experience with 24 luxury‑style cabins, a full‑service bar/restaurant, and a coffee shop. The property is open seasonally from May through October.

This role is designed for a couple who will share duties: one partner primarily staffs the front desk and guest services; the other handles property maintenance and light repairs. Both partners must be friendly, flexible, and able to respond calmly to rare emergency situations.

• Greet guests, check‑ins/check‑outs, manage reservations and payment processing
• Provide local information and excellent guest service
• Handle phone and email inquiries, coordinate housekeeping and room assignments
• Assist with light administrative tasks and recordkeeping

• Routine property upkeep: grounds, cabins, and common areas
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and painting work
• Preventive maintenance checks and coordinate vendor work when needed
• Assist with guest issues related to facilities and safety

• Prior hospitality and/or maintenance experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and troubleshoot under pressure
• Able to lift moderate loads and work outdoors in varying weather
• Clean background and reliable transportation (RV required)

• Flexible scheduling: part‑time or full‑time options available
• Two pay structures:
• With after‑hours on‑call responsibility – compensated at a higher rate for rare emergency calls outside standard hours.
• Without after‑hours responsibility – standard wage and schedule; no on‑call duty.
• Specific pay rates and RV parking/hookup arrangements will be discussed during the interview. RV site is provided at no cost.

Pay Range: $16 – $19 per hour.
