Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

The Blake at Taos Ski Valley is a Village and Alpine Ski Resort. As a Housekeeper you share your passions and simple gestures, which inspire lasting relationships with our guests and fellow employees. You will be performing many cleaning duties professionally and in a safe manner.

Our ‘Peak’ staff classification is designed to provide additional staffing and support during peak business levels. This applies to weekends, holidays, and any events which require additional staffing. This specific job listing is intended to fill a summer housekeeping position from July 2026-August 2026. This classification of hiring is subject to change depending on fluctuations in business levels and could extend into a full-time seasonal opportunity, should business needs reflect this.

• Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays.
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms.
• Fulfill guest amenity requests.
• Follow checklists as given for each room or section.
• Communicates with Supervisors/ Managers daily.
• Maintaining service closets/laundry/cleaning carts/vacuums.
• Return all lost and found items properly tagged.
• Be very kind to our guests and fellow teammates.
• Other duties as assigned.

Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.

Frequently standing, bending and reaching for long periods of time on a daily basis. Occasionally lifting up to 50-70 pounds. This position will require you to be out in winter conditions 30 % of the time.

Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check and MVR check.
