Hotel Maintenance Engineer

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of the hotel’s equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and well-presented environment for guests and staff. This position performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders to ensure minimal disruption to guests and operations.

Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Perform carpentry, painting, and other general building repairs as needed.

Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts and tools.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Assist with energy conservation initiatives and report any potential safety hazards.

Support other departments by responding to maintenance-related requests in a timely, courteous manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and mechanical rooms.
