Hollywood Building Services is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Lead Floor Technician to manage and perform floor care operations in commercial and healthcare facilities throughout the Bronx and surrounding areas. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee daily floor maintenance activities while working alongside your team to ensure spotless results and adherence to all safety and cleanliness protocols. Lead and coordinate daily floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and buffing.

Operate and maintain professional-grade equipment such as auto scrubbers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.

Train, guide, and supervise floor care team members to ensure compliance with safety standards and performance expectations.

Inspect completed work to ensure quality and cleanliness meet client and company standards.

Monitor supply inventory and report equipment needs or malfunctions.

Communicate with team members and management to coordinate schedules, updates, and improvements.

Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in commercial or healthcare floor care and maintenance.

Prior team lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Proficient in the use of floor care chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Excellent communication, leadership, and time‑management skills.
