Brooklyn, NY (Brighton Beach, Coney Island Area)   Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000    The Senior Building Maintenance Worker is responsible for overseeing repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep of Apple Bank’s owned properties. This role includes performing minor repairs and maintenance and handling various facilities-related tasks. The individual utilizes appropriate tools, efficiently resolves issues, addresses complaints, collaborates effectively with colleagues, and travels to different Bank locations to address building concerns and carry out routine repairs.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Monitor fixtures and fittings of assigned Bank locations and ensure that all issues are identified and addressed.
* Respond to facility inquiries and complaints, assess problems, and take the necessary corrective action.
* Conduct site and safety inspections and follow protocol for effective, building-specific maintenance and safety procedures
* Carry out routine repairs, maintenance and minor renovations.
* Ensure that both interior and exterior common areas are clean and safe for Bank customers and employees.
* Maintain mechanical areas, as well as utility and HVAC rooms.
* Identify and advise superiors of all safety hazards.
* Complete basic plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, drains) and maintenance.
* Conduct minor electrical fixes (wiring, fixtures, light bulbs, switches) and maintenance.
* Perform carpentry repairs (adjust hardware, touch-up wall/paint, replace ceiling tile) and maintenance.
* Coordinate activities between contractors and locations (may require overtime).
* Perform other duties as required.
** SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE
*** High school diploma or GED is required.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
* Completion of applicable licensing and safety courses is mandatory.
* Proficiency in the use of small hand and power tools.
* Proven ability to resolve issues promptly and efficiently while adhering to established guidelines.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
* Must be physically able to lift and transport items up to 50 lbs.
* Willingness and ability to travel between Apple Bank locations as necessary.
