Location: Long Island City

Job Description The Warehouse Worker's main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.

* Work hours:

* 8 hr shift + 30-minute break = 8.5 hrs on site
* Full time position
* This req is specifically to fill our overnight shift (11PM - 7:30 AM)

Static schedule with a shift bid twice a year
* Back-to-back days off guaranteed
* 40 hrs guaranteed, with overtime offered
* Job site is within walking distance from both Queensboro Plaza & Queen Plaza Subway Stations (3-5 min walk). All subway lines within a 10-minute walk or less include E, F, G, N, M, R, W, & 7 Trains Compensation Data COMPENSATION:
The Hourly rate for this position is $18.70 to $18.70. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting. BENEFITS:

Job Responsibilities *

• Pick, build, and stage route-specific orders for train service
  * Prepare product kits such as silverware roll-ups, condiment arrays, and toiletry kits.
  * Load and unload railcars, trailers, and delivery vehicles
  * Transport products between warehouse, yard, and train locations
  * Operate pallet jacks, carts, golf carts, and other material-handling equipment (as trained)
  * Stock, rotate, and replenish inventory following FIFO and food-safety standards
  * Identify and report damaged goods, shortages, or quality issues
  * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  * Ensure safety procedures, yard rules, and SOPs are adhered to
  * Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and train crews

  * Must be over 18 years of age
  * High school education or equivalent is preferred
  * 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred
  * Strong written and verbal communication skills
  * Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  * Basic computer skills
  * Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
  * Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb
  * Some client locations require a current valid driver's license. If this is required, an MVR will be run as part of your pre-employment screening process. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
