Building Service Attendant

Job Description

Maintains assigned areas in clean, sanitary and orderly condition. Receives, distributes and records all deliveries to facility and stock shelves, as required. Carries out other special cleaning and maintenance projects.

• Maintains assigned areas in clean, sanitary and orderly condition.
  • Removes trash and washes all fixtures in all toilets.
  • Removes litter as required.
  • Washes walls, as required.
• Receives, distributes and records all deliveries to facility and stocks shelves, as required.
• Maintains storeroom in a neat and orderly condition.
• Maintains garden areas by watering and cultivating plants in atrium area and polishing fountains.
• Maintains cafeteria by removing trash and washing tables, as required.
• Carries out special cleaning and maintenance projects, as required.
• Performs related duties, as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Prior gardening, grounds and cleaning experience, required.
• Ability to operate common housekeeping devices such as brooms, mops, waxers, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
