**** Fireman/Mechanic - Rotating shifts - Weekends

Under the supervision of the Boiler Room Foreman, you will maintain, operate, and repair all Boiler Room equipment, including boilers, pumps, compressors, fans, heaters, and turbines.

This position will work 5 shifts per week as follows:
** Friday and Saturday - Midnight to 8:00 am
**** Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
** The Fireman Mechanic will also be required to work other shifts as needed for coverage by the department.
** Required Criteria
*** High school diploma or GED
* 2 years of experience in high pressure Boiler Room operation and equipment maintenance, or equivalent work experience with high pressure steam equipment at NYPWith patient and employee satisfaction scores at all-time highs, there’s never been a better time to join our team.
