Overview
A family, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire an experienced part‑time Housekeeper to maintain their 7,500-square-foot residence (5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms).
Responsibilities- Deep cleaning on a scheduled basis daily and detailed cleaning of all rooms and bathrooms.
- Make and turn down beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, mop, and polish surfaces.
- Sanitize kitchens and bathrooms.
- Full laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe organization, with particular care for fine garments and delicate fabrics.
- Closet and pantry organization.
- Maintain household systems, monitor and replenish supplies.
- Manage dry cleaning and oversee seasonal wardrobe rotation.
All candidates must have significant experience in formal homes and understand the high standards such homes require. The ideal candidate is accustomed to working in homes with children.
Schedule and CompensationSchedule:
Monday 9am–5pm and Tuesdays 7am–5pm. Salary $35/hr april start date.
