Maintenance Tech​/Groundskeeper

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech/Groundskeeper to join our team! If you have general maintenance knowledge, including electrical and plumbing experience, and a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you. Main focus for the position will be groundskeeping n addition to maintaining property management. Must be willing to work weekends if need.

16-20 hours

Can be flexible with the schedule

Rate of pay is between $18 to $19 an hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance Tasks: Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including painting resident rooms and other areas.

• Plumbing & Electrical: Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance as needed.

• Material Movement: Move materials and equipment between rooms and different areas of the facility as necessary.

• Property Maintenance - maintain lawns and facility landscaping.

• Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed. (Plowing, salting, snow and ice removal)

• Supervision: Work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Experience: General maintenance knowledge, including experience with plumbing and electrical systems.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move at least 50 to 100 lbs.

• Work Schedule: Must be available to work one weekend per month.

• Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

• Regulatory Compliance: Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.

• Emergency Response: Willingness to respond to emergency calls as required.
