Job Description SummaryCleans manufacturing, packaging, administrative and common areas of the facility, general cleanup of facility grounds, keeps general use supplies replenished. Ensures that clean and orderly facilities are maintained. Completes all types of cleaning activities to maintain consistency of standards according to cGMP, SOP specifications.
Job DescriptionEssential Functions:
- Collects all process‑related hazardous wastes and transports to accumulation drums.
- Sweeps, mops and auto‑scrubs floors.
- Clears spills throughout the site as needed.
- Washes walls, partitions, doors and windows.
- Sanitizes non‑production sinks and drains.
- Dusts, vacuums, washes and sanitizes tabletops, counters and other general cleaning activities.
- Maintains dispensers in bathrooms, cafeterias, locker rooms and production areas, replenishing supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet paper, hairnets, booties, coffee, etc.).
- Dusts and cleans lights and air diffusers.
- Collects and removes trash and recyclables (cardboard, plastic bottles, glass, etc.).
- Performs cleaning and sanitizing duties according to SOPs.
- Executes pest‑control functions per SOP.
- Handles general cleanup/pickup of grounds and lower‑building windows and louvres as needed.
- Sweeps floors in building mechanical rooms, mezzanines, storage (Building 17) and utilities (Building 18).
- Maintains site vehicles, replenishing washer fluid, etc.
- Provides general landscaping duties as required (spot weeding, hedge trimming, etc.).
Documents cleaning activities as required.
Safety Standards Adhered toPromotes and adheres to safety requirements, follows safe working practices, actively participates in site and departmental safety initiatives, accepts accountability for personal safety, identifies unsafe conditions, complies with site security requirements, ensures work areas are organized, hazard‑free, and minimizes environmental impact.
Minimum Requirements EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Basic knowledge of arithmetic, spelling, English, and grammar.
ExperienceRecommended minimum of three months on the job experience to gain sufficient skill.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions in written or oral form and handle problems involving standardized situations.
- Perform basic arithmetic functions: add, subtract, multiply, divide all units of measure.
- Basic reading, writing, and speaking at a minimal level.
- Work under general supervision to perform the functions of the position.
- Basic end‑user computer skills.
- Attention to Detail / Focus: thorough and precise, monitors and checks work, plans and organizes time and resources efficiently, double‑checks accuracy, provides information in a timely and usable form.
