Location: Lake Placid

General Maintenance

Perform assigned maintenance duties related to exterior and interior facilities; ensure high guest service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
Respond to guest maintenance requests.
Complete work orders timely.
Communicate regarding out-of-order rooms and projects.
Maintain security of master keys.
Work with outside contractors.
Assist in training employees.
Comply with safety laws and report issues.
Monitor boiler/chiller readings.
Responsible for pool maintenance.
Report safety/security issues.
Maintain clean work area.
Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

2+ years experience.
Effective communication.
Technical skills: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
Weekend/holiday availability.
Basic computer skills.
Indoor/outdoor work.
Adhere to environmental sustainability practices, including proper disposal of materials and energy-efficient maintenance procedures.

Job Environment

Primarily indoors or within hotel facilities; some exposure to outside elements.
Significant walking and standing for entire shift.
Light to heavy lifting - 50+ lbs.
