Location: Phoenicia
Overview
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking a Parks and Recreation Aide 5 at Woodland Valley Campground - Phoenicia, NY.
Typical duties- Stay overnight on site 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday)
- Supervise staff
- Prepare financial facility paperwork
- Provide good customer service
- Check campers in at booth
- Clean bathrooms
- Clean campsites
- Grounds maintenance
- Boat rentals
- Must have valid driver's license
- Criminal justice/law enforcement experience or one year in a recreational facility preferred
- Reliability
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Ability to take direction from a supervisor
- Communication skills
This is a full-time, seasonal position working Wednesday through Sunday with overnights required. Shift varies, $20.45 per hour.
