Position Summary

Reporting to the Building Superintendent, under general direction, the Porter/Door Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of CU apartment buildings and grounds area.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

• Cleans and maintains building and grounds complex: elevators, stairways, corridors, windows, floors, laundry rooms, vacant apartments, etc.; trims trees and shrubs; fertilizes, seeds and mows lawn; sweeps and hoses sidewalks; removes snow and spreads salt as needed.
• Screens persons entering the building, announces visitors and assures building security.
• Lobby must be kept clean and neat at all times.
• All incoming and outgoing packages will be handled by this employee.
• Neat appearance and excellent command of the English language are extremely important.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma and/or its equivalent required.
• Heavy lifting may be required.
• Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance a plus.
