Maintenance Porter - Union

Goldfarb Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Porter for a luxury residential apartment complex in Far Rockaway, NY. This person will report to our Facilities Manager and/or Superintendent.

• Manage general cleanliness of all assigned work areas
• Manage interior/exterior cleanliness of the building
• Trash removal and operation of trash compactor
• Care for property owned maintenance equipment

• Ability to use cleaning equipment is a must
• Good communication skills
• Prior maintenance/janitorial experience required
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
• Team player
• Highly motivated - independent worker
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail

• Pay range: $22.99 to $30.66 hourly
• 32 BJ union benefits package (full time only)
