Responsibilities- Supervises a group of subordinate supervisors.
- Compiles and analyzes records.
- Conducts investigations and prepares reports.
- May perform inspection work on new equipment and material at manufacturing plants.
- Supervises staff engaged in the maintenance and repair of interlocking machines, centralized traffic control machines, switch machines, automatic train stops, color light signals, microprocessor signal control systems and related power and control systems.
- Conducts prescribed tests and inspections of the signal system.
- Performs inspection work and research on new equipment.
- Maintains records and prepares reports relating to signal interruptions.
- 1st Year $112,717
- 2nd Year $114,313
- 3rd Year $118,338
- Five years of satisfactory full‑time experience in the maintenance, installation, and repair of a railroad signal system and electrical equipment relevant to the duties of the position; at least one year of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.
- Desired skills:
Microsoft Word, Power Point, Hexagon, Talon, and BSC marketplace; forklift and skid loader operation.
