Responsibilities

Supervises a group of subordinate supervisors. Compiles and analyzes records. conducts investigations and prepares reports. May perform inspection work on new equipment and material at manufacturing plants. Supervises staff engaged in the maintenance and repair of interlocking machines, centralized traffic control machines, switch machines, automatic train stops, color light signals, microprocessor signal control systems and related power and control systems. Conducts prescribed tests and inspections of the signal system.

Performs inspection work and research on new equipment. Maintains records and prepares reports relating to signal interruptions.

Compensation

1st Year: $112,717

2nd Year: $114,313

3rd Year: $118,338

Education and Experience

Five years of satisfactory full-time experience in the maintenance, installation and repair of a railroad signal system and electrical equipment of nature relevant to the duties of the position of Maintenance Supervisor (Signals); at least one year of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Desired Skills

Microsoft Word, Power Point, Hexagon, Talon, and BSC Market place. Forklift and skid loader operation.
