Benefits

We offer three comprehensive healthcare plans. Housing Works covers most of the plan; you pay a portion based on your salary. Staff accrues paid time off immediately, up to 30 days earned in the first year. An educational benefit is available for tuition loan reimbursement, tuition costs, and textbooks.

The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building and its grounds.

Primary:

• Maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for clients, staff, and the public
• Communicating information in response to inquiries
• Providing equipment and furniture arrangements for meetings, clinical activities, and events
• Maintaining facilities to minimize deterioration and damage

Secondary:

• Responsible for the safe and orderly operation of the facilities
• Providing excellent customer service
• Participating in monthly inspections to ensure compliance with requirements, cleanliness, and proper upkeep
• Ensuring that the facility is clean and always maintained
• Strongly and enthusiastically supporting and participating in advocacy and direct action to end the twin crises of AIDS and homelessness
• Other duties as assigned

• Good communication skills, both verbally and written, including the ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Dependable and flexible with a high level of confidentiality
• Obtain S95 certification within the first 90 days of employment
• Basic emailing knowledge

$18/hour
