Position Description
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a hardworking individual for the position of Utility/Dishwasher. The responsibilities for this position include cleaning of dishes and other food‑related items, sanitization of food prep areas, and other general cleaning activities necessary to maintain a clean environment.
Position Requirements- Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. - Physical:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bending and stretching. - Environmental:
Work environment can be seasonally hot & humid. Some exposure to cold in walk‑in freezer, some exposure to out‑of‑doors conditions and noise. - Psychological:
Pressure due to peak workload period.
The hourly rate for this role is $17.00-$17.57.
