Job Title

Maintenance Mechanic

Shift

3rd Shift – Saturday to Tuesday, 8:00 pm to 4:30 am

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Use a range of tools from hand and power tools to precision measurement and electrical testing devices.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance or repair to keep machines and building systems running smoothly.
  • Inspect, operate, or test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions, reviewing blueprints, manuals, or parts catalogs as needed.
  • Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
  • Inspect drives, motors, belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and conduct other maintenance tasks following checklists.
  • Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability and willingness to work non‑traditional shifts and hours.
  • Experience with general maintenance and electrical duties preferred.
  • General knowledge of conveyor systems and troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to use CMMS and computer skills for utilizing preventive maintenance software.
  • Maintenance experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Safety champion: promote a safe and productive workplace with proper PPE use, safe operation of powered equipment, and safe lifting techniques.
  • Active participation in building a successful safety culture.
