Job DescriptionPosted Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 4:00 AM
About UsWe believe that everyone deserves a home! Breaking Ground operates nearly 4,000 units of housing across New York City, as well as housing in upstate New York and Connecticut. Supportive housing—affordable housing paired with services designed to help people maintain their homes for the long term—is widely recognized as a proven and cost‑effective solution to chronic homelessness. Breaking Ground’s programs and services help people experiencing street homelessness—especially those who have been on the streets the longest—to come indoors.
Through our Street to Home outreach program and transitional housing resources, we help people get, and stay, on the path to a permanent home.
Located in Chelsea, The Christopher offers 207 units of permanent, supportive housing to low‑income New Yorkers, people living with HIV/AIDS, and chronically homeless individuals, including those with mental illnesses. The Christopher also provides housing for young adults who are aging out of foster care or have experienced homelessness. Good Shepherd Services offers comprehensive onsite social services, and Breaking Ground coordinates property‑management services.
