As an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing the daily operations of building and grounds maintenance. You’ll assist with scheduling, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure a clean, functional, and welcoming environment for residents.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Assist in completing work orders from resident service requests by diagnosing issues and making repairs in accordance with established policies and safety standards.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating and completing work orders, diagnosing maintenance issues, and performing repairs in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.
- Support the "make‑ready" process for vacant apartments by conducting inspections, preparing task lists, and helping to ensure timely and high‑quality completion.
- Help oversee daily work assignments, ensuring maintenance technicians and janitorial staff have clear direction and the tools needed to perform their duties.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the property, including grounds, common areas, and building exteriors.
- Assist with preventative maintenance schedules, inspections, and follow‑up on repairs to maintain property standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed and participate in the on‑call rotation.
- Assist with ordering materials, managing inventory, and coordinating vendor or contractor services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and completed work orders.
- Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.

- This position is Non‑Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay
This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in general maintenance.
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or building operations; previous apartment or multifamily experience preferred.
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM. Must be able to participate in the emergency on‑call rotation as needed.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and appliance repair.
