Cleaner / Janitor

We are looking for an experienced Cleaner/Janitor to play a vital role in our staff. The ideal candidate is reliable, skilled, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean organization.

• Keep buildings in a clean condition
• Perform heavy‑duty cleaning
• Perform regular maintenance activities
• Engage in repair activities when needed
• Clean building floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping)
• Gather and empty indoor trash
• Clean, service and resupply restrooms
• Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Engage in building security and safety activities (checking and locking doors, checking electrical appliance)
• Move equipment, supplies, and furniture
• Inform managers about required repair and maintenance activities
• Maintain tools and equipment needed for duties
• Arrange supplies of tools and equipment needed for duties
• Organize and execute spraying of fumigants and insecticides

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven working experience as a Cleaner/Janitor
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures
• Ability to respond and act quickly
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals and supplies
