Job SummaryFacilities Manager oversees maintenance, housekeeping operations, safety, and technical infrastructure of Moss’s physical spaces, ensuring all environments meet the highest standards of appearance, functionality, and safety, supporting daily operations for members, guests, and staff. This position reports directly to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs- Oversee and coordinate preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance for all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool, sauna, and mechanical components.
- Ensure interior and exterior areas are clean, safe, and meet brand standards.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, inspection reports, and preventive schedules.
- Respond rapidly to urgent issues to minimize operational disruption.
- Act as the onsite point of contact for basic IT and AV support.
- Coordinate with external IT providers for escalated issues, upgrades, and ongoing support.
- Maintain inventory of technology equipment and support onboarding needs.
- Support integration and maintenance of building management and smart technology platforms.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute facility-related projects, including repairs, renovations, and upgrades.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and vendor communications.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with brand standards.
- Supervise maintenance, janitorial, outsourced security, and facilities support teams.
- Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts for cleaning, security, waste removal, landscaping, and other services.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain inventory for janitorial supplies and tools required for housekeeping and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, fire drills, and emergency preparedness procedures.
- Maintain required safety certifications and documentation.
- Oversee building access systems and coordinate with security personnel.
- Monitor facility systems and utilities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Implement process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness, sustainability, and long-term asset care.
