The maintenance worker will perform all functions to maintain the physical premises of the programs under the direction of the Clinical Director.

• Responsible for recycling and garbage collections, including compactor operation and placement of refuse in appropriate location for pick‑up.
• Daily cleaning of floors, doors, windows, elevators, lobby, offices, laundry room, common restrooms.
• Immediate availability to ensure timely and complete removal of snow.
• Unpack supply deliveries and stock them appropriately.
• Work closely and cooperatively with superintendent to ensure optimum maintenance of the property.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience required.
• Ability to stand for longer periods of time; able to bend, kneel, and crouch.
• Bilingual Spanish/English;
  Russian/English;
  Creole/English;
  Chinese/English;
  Korean/English speaking preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull weight up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays according to the needs of program operation.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations within the five boroughs as needed.
