Area Mgr Fulfillment Center Facilities

Overview

We are seeking a Facilities Area Supervisor to lead a team of facilities/maintenance mechanics in support of 24/7 production operations at our Ontario Fulfillment Center. The role reports to the Site Facilities Manager and focuses on development, safety, and housekeeping to ensure equipment performs at optimal levels for order fulfillment.

• Communicate directly with the Operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work on equipment.
• Lead a shift of facilities maintenance mechanics to support fulfillment operations.
• Perform administrative responsibilities, including payroll management, individual development plans, performance improvement plans, coaching, evaluations, and regular one‑on‑ones.
• Review work orders for accuracy and completion against standards.
• Provide metrics and details to the Facilities Manager.
• Monitor and audit preventative maintenance programs to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and applicability to maintain equipment in optimal conditions for production.

• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, environmental regulations, and preventive maintenance systems.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience in fulfillment/distribution, industrial manufacturing, or equivalent military experience.
• Experience using work management systems, ideally CMMS programs such as EAM, Maximo, eMaint, or Maintenance Connection.
• Strong leadership, staff development, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Cost and budget analysis skills.
